Bookmarks & Toolbar
By using bookmarks you can save time if certain steps reappear. Just save those website as a bookmark so that you can easily access them with only one click. To add a site to the bookmarks simply choose "Bookmarks -> Add bookmark". In the same menu you will also find the option "Manage bookmarks" . There are additional options such as creating folders to sort and manage the bookmarks you created. By doing so you can clearly arrange and sort all the links that are frequently used to access them at every time.
Extensions, Themes & Plug-Ins
With Firefox it is easy to install and manage extensions. To see which extension have already been installed choose "Extra -> Add-ons". Now you will see a window showing all the extensions and themes that were installed previously. To find and get more extenstions from the Internet click on "View all Add-ons" and a new window will opnen to show all the extensions available. To install an extension that is already shown just select the element requested and click "Add to Firefox". Firefox will now download the Add-on automatically and install it after your confirmation. The new extension will be available after you restart the Browser. Just close Firefox and restart it again.
Tabbed Browsing
There are two possibilities to open a new tab in Firefox: either you press CRTL+T, or choose "File -> New Tab". To close a Tab you can click on it with the mouse wheel, or press CTRL+W when the Tab is active. Alternativly you can choose "File -> Close Tab". To navigate the different Tabs just click on the site that you wish, or press the shortcut CTRL+PgUp or CTRL+PgDn.
Search
This feature will be very useful if texts and sites are very long and verboseh. To start the site search press CTRL+F, or open "Edit -> Search". You will find a new bar at the bottom of the page where you can type what you are looking for in the text. You will notice that the text within the site will be highlighted as you type, when strings or characters are found. Use the options "Up" und "Down" down to navigate the results within the text until the search is completley finished.
Yahoo! Toolbar
Firefox comes with a toolbar installed by default in the upper right corner. There you can type terms and strings that will be displayed after choosing one of the search engines listed. To choose the search engine preferred click on the icon left to the text box. A context menu will show up proving all the service available.
